TrolMaster’s Hydro-X system can control most of the horticultural lighting fixtures sold on the market today. Most light manufacturers provide the ability to control their lighting systems using what known as a low-volt control. That low-volt control can take many forms and communication protocols. TrolMaster makes several types of lighting adapters (LMA units) that allow the Hydro-x to control lights using their low-volt control option.
Lighting Control Adapter P (LMA-11) is specially designed for controlling Phantom ballast.
Lighting Control Adapter D (LMA-12) is specially designed for controlling Dimlux ballast.
Lighting Control Adapter S (LMA-13) is specially designed for controlling Sun System ballast (except SunSystem LEC 630).
LMA-14 lighting adapter is specially designed for the lights with 0-10V protocol control: HIDs: Gavita/Nanolux/Luxx/Growers Choice/Illuminar/PL. LEDs: Fluence/Next light/Photobio
- NOTE: Each LMA-14 can control up to 40 HID lights or 24 LEDs. Additional LMA-14 adapters can be used with the SPH-1 to control as many lights as required.
- When using with Fluence Spyder 2x/2i fixtures @ 277v, no more than 12 LEDs per LMA-14
LMA-15 lighting adapter is specially designed for DLI ballasts.
LMA-24 lighting adapter is specially designed to use both two channels on the Hydro-X system to create a lantern schedule control for any lights with 0-10V protocol. It is compatible with HIDs like Gavita/Nanolux/Luxx/Growers Choice/Illuminar/PL and LEDs like Fluence/Next light/Spectrum King
- The lantern lighting schedule is a lighting routine that enhances the growth of the plants in vegetative stage. The lighting schedule consists of having lights on for 12 hours, turning the lights off for 5.5 hours, turning it back on for 1 hour and finally turning the lights off for another 5.5 hours. This 24 hour schedule is then repeated for a plant’s vegetative stage. Turning on the lights for an hour in between the off hours inhibits florigen production, which prompts the plant to stay in a high growth vegetative state.
- LMA-24 is designed for lights with 0-10V protocol control
The LMA-T is specially designed for the ThinkGrow LED systems, providing two channels control, which allows separate control for full spectrum and second red output levels on the ThinkGrow LEDs.
- The LMA-T simply connects to the lighting control ports Line 1 and Line 2 on the HCS-1. Once connected, the user can then set individual ON and OFF times and the dimming settings for the full spectrum LEDs and also for the second red LEDs.
- The LMA-T then is connected to the RJ type lighting control cables where each of the LEDs are connected back to the controller in a daisy-chain configuration using plug-and-play connections.
- One adaptor could run up to 256 ThinkGrow LEDs.
- * Convert RJ12 to Water Proof Connector Cable included.
LMA-G is specially designed to be used with ThinkGrow Model-I and I Plus. The LMA-G needs to be connected with a lighting control adaptor to offer a group control function to the grow lights. Each LMA-G can control one group of lights./ Each light group requires one LMA-G.
