RIOCOCO PCM Open-Top Bags - Super Washed

RIOCOCO PCM Open-Top Bags are produced with a special blend of coconut fiber that combines coir, coco pith and coco chips to create the industries most balanced and uniform soilless substrate.  Formulated to provide plants with the perfect mix of aeration to moisture holding capacity, Combing moisture holding coir with chips and pith for aeration not normally found in coco products.

RIOCOCO OTBs are five times washed to remove fine particles that hold excess water and clog water recycling systems., Unlike other brands that add perlite for aeration, an ingredient that holds no water or fertilizer and is inert to plants, RIOCOCO accomplishes better aeration and water holding capacity by mixing in coco chips that DO hold water and fertilizer to create a uniform mix with the industries highest air porosity. 

Produced in an ISO certified factory that holds it's workers, raw materials and machinery to the highest standards.  From OMRI certified for organic farming, the media is landfill-able or can be sold after a cycle.  Some growers even rotate crops for several cycles of use.  Every container that leaves the factory is tested for pH, EC and heavy metals.  Commercial crop production operates on the smallest margins possible and they know how important it is to ensure yield is maximized.  The worst thing that could happen would be to test positive for heavy metals that came inside dirty grow media bags.

RIOCOCO is blended without fine dust particles to make PCM OTBs that are clean and dust free. This product is specially designed to reach the optimum water holding capacity (WHC) and air-filled porosity (AFP).
